Invisible Illness

An online resource to assist schools and their communities to understand the needs of children and young people with chronic illnesses. Understanding the medical needs, the effects of the illness and treatments on all children and young people in schools, colleges and  tertiary environments will assist them to be better integrated into the education system and will assist their teachers and peers to work with them  and build positive relationships.

This project was assisted by the Education Department of Victoria, Catholic Education Office and the Leukaemia Foundation. It was originally conceived by the Children’s and Young People Working Party of the Chronic Illness Alliance.
