Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Australia (TASCA) is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to:

Serving as a support network for Australians affected by chronic genetic blood disorders known as haemoglobinopathies, including thalassaemia and sickle cell anaemia.
Educating and raising public awareness of haemoglobinopathies and the importance of carrier status testing in Australia.
Advocating for the improvements in the standard of care provided for Australians living with haemoglobinopathies.

Encouraging the public to donate blood to the Australian Red Cross Blood Service to support Australians living with haemoglobinopathies in need of regular life-saving transfusions.
