Cystic Fibrosis Victoria Inc

Cystic Fibrosis Victoria was established in 1974 to support parents of children with Cystic Fibrosis. Since that time, the organisation has grown to provide services and support across Victoria for children, adolescents and adults with Cystic Fibrosis and their families and carers. At any one time, there are over 600 Victorian families using our services.

Cystic Fibrosis Victoria programs and services include:

Support: Counselling, patient visits, mutual support, linking people to local services, provision of medical equipment such as pep masks, financial assistance, respite facilities, stress relief weekends.

Information & Education: Tailored forums, conferences and presentations, specialised library resources, videos, public education, website, chatroom, news magazines and information brochures and the CF handbook

Advocacy: lobbying for better quality of life options for Cystic Fibrosis sufferers.

Research: Annual fundraising for the only national peer-reviewed Australian Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust.
